Patricia (Trish)'s Story

After graduation, I attended a medical assisting school and got my certificate.(I worked for 3 different doctors before I had kids.) I was still living in Cupertino/Saratoga foothills with my parents. In 1969, my dad moved us down to Los Angeles area (Flintridge) for work. My family and I moved down there and that is where I met my future husband, Bill Morris who lived in San Diego. After getting married in 1970, I moved to San Diego with Bill. Two of my sons were born there in La Mesa. In 1977, Bill was transferred for work to AT&T at Basking Ridge NJ. We moved to Long Valley NJ and had a wonderful house out in the country. My last son was born there in Hackettstown NJ. We lived in Long ...Expand for more
Valley for 22 years. Then in 1999, we moved to Port Angeles WA. I attended 2 different colleges and after moving to WA I got a new medical assistant certificate because when I got my 1st one there were not even computers!!!!!!! I now have 5 grand-kids--2 girls and 3 boys and one of them lives nearby which is wonderful! My mother-in-law lives with us--kind of difficult but she need help so... I am very grateful to have been raised a Catholic and been able to attend 12 yrs. of Catholic school with the wonderful nuns--so sorry that there are so few of them left. I attend a wonderful parish here in WA and we have a great pastor, Fr. Thomas Nathe. Sure enjoyed my time at Mother Butler HS.
